About Julie

I’m a data geek writing about Real Estate. I’ll share insights into the nuances, details of buying, selling, owning / operating real estate including multi family, 2-4 units, income property, SFR or condos. My strength lies in my analytical skills, identifying opportunities, negotiating and introducing you to SMEs & vendors to help you execute.

My background is in tech, big data & finance having started my professional career in financial brokerage while in college with a Series 7. I spent over a decade working in Wall St FinTech selling, managing buy & sell side relationships, working in various sales, business development & strategic roles. My experience working with complex technology & data solutions involving multimillion dollar contracts has translated to how I approach Real Estate deals. Technical details & relationships at all levels matter.

In pivoting to working with consumers as a licensed California real estate agent, I quickly recognized the emotional facets that drive real estate decisions in residential and multi family real estate sales. I have leveraged these analytical skills to provide data driven insights to clients while being cognizant of the psychological drivers in Buyer & Seller decision making.

My experiences in working with both technical and experiential clients has allowed me to unify the macro trends & economics with the micro decision making criteria. I have the ability to speak at an analytical level to a fund manager while also having worked with the end user of real estate. This unique perspective has been critical in translating the hyper local San Diego market to deliver market insights.

I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, with a BBA in Management Information Systems. A Texas native, I have travelled the US extensively for business and leisure while living in NYC and San Diego which has stoked my passion for understanding how the many roles of real estate interact with shaping a city, community, services, culture, workforce and landscape.

Working in highly regulated industries with significant amounts of money on the line, multiple influencers & decision makers has shaped how I communicate, how I negotiate and most importantly, how I conduct myself professionally & ethically.
